Bible Study 10:30am and 7:30 pm Wednesdays
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Tim. 2:15 These are some very important words Paul spoke to Timothy. He knew the importance of the word of God for believers. Why? All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Tim. 3:16-17. In Bible Study, you will learn the Word for yourself, taught by our pastor and ministers. You will learn how to Get Right, Stay Right and Live right. See you in the Study
Pastors Support (helps)
The spiritual gift of helps is found in one of the spiritual gifts listed in 1 Corinthians 12:28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. “helps” means literally “to relieve, succor, participate in, and/or support.” Those with the gift of helps are those who can aid or render assistance to others in the church with compassion and grace. Music Ministry
The Purposes of Church Music
These two verses Ephesians 5:19 Colossians 3:16 give the purposes of Christian music. Our Music should do four things: First, our songs should teach us. To do this, they should be doctrinally sound and should teach the basics of biblical doctrine. God used the song of Moses to teach Israel of their relationship with God (Deuteronomy 31:19-21. Second, our songs should "admonish" us. This means they should warn of sin or danger and urge to proper action in our Christian lives, Colossians 3:16. Third, our songs should praise and exalt God. We sing them to the Lord and they are an integral part of our worship of Him. With them, we make melody to the Lord and sing to Him. Fourth, our songs should speak to our hearts. We sing them with grace. That is, they help us. We make melody with them. They stick with us because they are a pleasure to sing. We sing them as we go about our business of the day. If you have a desire to be a part of the music ministry here with instrument or voice, see Rev. Ronald Floyd
Food Pantry
Jesus spoke of serving the least among us Matthew 25:34-40. The least of the brothers and sisters of Jesus are those persons who are vulnerable. They are the socially, psychologically or economically disadvantaged, such as the sick, the poor, the mentally and physically disabled. Jesus cares about the needs of the poor. One of the ways we help is distributing food with no strings attached. This is done by members making a commitment to help take in organize and distribute food. If is this is your place contact Cynthia Patterson

Ushers/Greeters
A church usher is a person who helps ensure a smoothly running church service and who ministers to people in a variety of practical ways. The duties usually include greeting people as they arrive for the service, assisting people with special needs, and collecting the offering. Psalms 84:10 - For a day in thy courts [is] better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. To join and assist in this area of ministry see Terri Carter
Praise Dance
Exodus 15:20-21 So, Miriam takes out a timbrel and begins to play music, sing, and dance. The rest of the women follow her lead. Wow, what a site that must have been as well. Just minutes ago they were fearful for their very lives, and now all the women are playing timbrels, singing, and dancing. This may be the place for you if you love to dance if you are interested see Tracey Burton
Youth Spiritual Development
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6. You may have heard this scripture about raising our children and everything will be alright with them. Well if you have taken a look at some kids, you know that’s not true. That’s because this scripture is a Proverb not a promise. But there is a scripture that commands us and tells us what to do with our children. Deut. 6:6-7 “And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: [7] And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up”. All our children will one day be adults with many different challenges and opportunities before them. Join our Youth Spiritual Development and make an impact by developing godly children.
